Many of you have been following us since we were selling our precious cordial cherries at local boutique shows 11 years ago. And, even if you haven't, I'm sure you've seen our tiniest chocolatier in the shop over the years. Hannah...my pride and joy....my beautiful daughter....and a very talented artist has had to say goodbye to The Cordial Cherry. She's got BIG plans in the Big Apple....for the next four years she'll be training to be a movie animator and ultimately bless the masses with her talent. I've included a few of her creations below and you can see more of her work by just searching for "Hanniebones" on Google Images. She's also on Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
Charged with the task of creating a chocolate reproduction of a vintage chocolate poster, and a budding chocolatier in her own right, Hannah has chosen a beautiful work of art. A poster originally produced during the late 19th century by Theophile Alexandre Steinlen, a French cartoonist who often incorporated his beloved cats into his works. Below, you'll find Steinlen's work, the inspiration art piece, for Hannah's interpretation, which will be completely made of chocolate. Hannah's final piece will be showcased at the 2012 Sweet Couture event this September and will be a work in progress on display at our shop.
